During this project I realized that writing songs are not as easy as it seams. Although writing the first few bars was fairly simple, the rest wasn't. The more I played the song the more I realized something was not quite right. I asked for some opinions and I got the conclusion that I needed to change it. So I reversed the second line to lose some of the repetition I was using.There was also the problem of uploading videos because my files where MP 4 which the computer doesn't allow. The thing I learnt from this project is to manage my time better because I was stuck in the music room working on my project till the last minute whilst all the others where at henna stand having already finished their project.

You have used sequence well to create the repetition and contrast in your melody. I like how you have structured your phrases in this way & also the overall structure of the piece. You have used appropriate chords and developed a pleasing chord sequence. Well done. Why did you choose the piano sound?
ReplyDeleteYour video starts off well but then goes a little bizarre. It is repetitive & one picture that isn’t there long enough for us to focus on. I think you could have done better at this aspect.
Your reflection is brief… Perhaps the henna was calling too strongly to finish off properly, you could have written & posted the reflection the night before and just uploaded the video in school as an edit to the post! A: 6
